The Marilyn Meier Chopin Award 2025

2025 sees the launch of a new national keyboard award that will be occuring every 2 years: The Marilyn Meier Chopin Award held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The award is being launched to celebrate the life of a beloved concert pianist, teacher, mother, and friend, Dr. Marilyn Meier. Further, the competition highlights her tireless devotion to the music of Chopin, and the long-lasting effect that her pianism had on her students and audiences across four decades in Australia and internationally.
